Myths, Legends, & Tales: After taking notes on Flashback and Foreshadowing, we will start viewing the Native American story Windwalker. Answer the story questions as you watch it.
CIS College Comp: After we practice ACT questions, we will take notes on Making Your Thesis Universal. I will explain your narrative essay rubric. Turn in your thesis statement and pre-writing today. "Sixty-None Cents" by G. Scteyngart on p. 103 and answer these questions: Comprehension #6 and Purpose/Audience #1,2, 3 is due.
Speech: After vocab practice, we will read The Last of the Breed read for ten minutes. Then, we will take some notes on A Case of Fear Speech. Start writing your speech according to the 5 point outline.
Young Adult Lit: We will take some notes on chapters 12-13. Then, we will read the ,The River or your "A"-contract novel Shane. Write a summary of what you read today. It must be at least 5 sentences and it must "cover" what you read. We will finish The River next week.
