Myths, Legends, & Tales: We will take notes on "Gombei & Wild Ducks" and German folktale ("The Fisherman & his Wife"). Then we will work on identifying Similes and Metaphors in the stories and in other literature.
CIS College Comp: After we practice ACT questions, we will work on our Narrative Essays. Remember to read "Shooting an Elephant" on page 126 and answer the Purpose and Audience Questions 2 & 3. Explain your answers.
Speech: After vocab practice, we will read The Last of the Breed read for ten minutes. Then, we will take notes on the Communication Model and do a journal entry that evaluates our Case of Fear speech.
Young Adult Lit: We will discuss Final notes today. Then we will do a review because the test on The River is tomorrow.
Bible Lit: We will watch In Search of Noah's Ark today (just part of it) and you will make a list of pro's and con's for the arguments presented.
