Comp I 10th grade: After vocab practice, we will work on forming complex sentences by using subordinate conjunctions. (Sub Conj #2 wkst) We will also be reading in To Kill a Mockingbird.
CIS College Comp: We are discussing "Words Left Unspoken" by Cohen. Do Comprehension Questions 3, 4, and 5, plus look for several figures of speech (similes, metaphors, etc.) Read "Ground Zero" by S. Berne on p. 167, too.
Myths & Legends: We are taking notes on the difference between Romanticism and Realism. Finish your Word Origins study, too.
Young Adult Lit: I will introduce our new novel The Pigman. We will read, write a summary, and take quizzes as needed.
